Virtual Programming

Programming Ideas

If you have an idea for a virtual engagement opportunity, please complete the online recommendation form. We encourage all network leaders to think broadly about the W&M community for all programming ideas. We also encourage partner programming, where networks can partner with other university departments and units to promote speakers in their areas.

Formatting and Media of Virtual Programming

Zoom Webinars is a view-only platform where the attendees cannot see one another, and the host cannot view attendees. Zoom meetings allow for attendees to view one another, as well as the host. Online Networking Hours are hosted through Brazen, a 1:1 networking platform. If you have a suggestion or idea for another media, please contact your Alumni Engagement staff liaison.

Marketing Virtual Engagement Opportunities

All virtual engagement opportunities are marketed on the Virtual Engagement Opportunities website and on the W&M Events Calendar. Some engagement opportunities will be promoted in a Virtual Engagement Opportunity email newsletter. If an engagement opportunity is unique to a specific affinity, identity, industry and/or region, an evite can be targeted. If you have questions about who will receive marketing for a specific virtual engagement opportunity, please contact your Alumni Engagement staff liaison.
