Here we honor members of the William & Mary community who have passed away: undergraduate and graduate alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the university. We treasure their memories and carry forward their work at the university and in our communities. They are part of our story, and they are not forgotten.
On Oct. 20, 2023, alumni, family and friends gathered in the Wren Courtyard for the annual Sunset Ceremony. More than 400 alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the university were recognized in the ceremony, which included choral performances from members of the W&M Choir, the lighting of memorial candles and the ringing of the Wren Bell.
