Interment Services

Memorial Garden reservations through the William & Mary Alumni Association include a dedicated reservation time for your interment service. However, it does not provide guidance or hold any responsibility for the events held during the service. The service itself is up to the wishes of the deceased and/or the deceased’s executors. Interment services are as unique as the individual.

Parking & Access

It is important to note that the William & Mary Memorial Garden is a natural area and is intentionally remote and tucked away for privacy, peace, and tranquility. There is a short walk required to get to the garden from the parking lot. Arrangements can be made for handicapped access to the garden.

For Executors

If you have been authorized to inter the cremated remains of someone who holds a reservation at the William & Mary Memorial Garden and has passed away, please reach out to the Alumni Association at alumni.house@wm.edu to make arrangements for interment.
