Scatter Garden Information & Reservation Forms

$5,000 per person includes 10" x 2" plaque

The scatter garden is a raised circular garden and the center point of the Memorial Garden. It features a stately flying dove sculpture created by David H. Turner ’83. The sculpture is inscribed with “In All Time Coming” around the base.

The raised circular garden is surrounded by two brick walls of remembrance. These walls house 10-by-2-inch bronze plaques for each person interred in the garden.

Alumni and friends wishing to pre-plan personal interment arrangements can do so by filling out the reservation form and remitting it with full payment to the William & Mary Alumni Association.

This charge includes site preparation, a bronze plaque commemorating the deceased with name, class year, date of birth and date of death, and year-round maintenance of the garden.

Beginning in 2026, the Memorial Garden will become a scatter garden and the plots will be retired.
