Radiant Rhythms

February 10-23, 2019

Samba in São Paulo. Revel in Rio Grande’s ancient architecture. Bask in the superb cuisine and chic boutiques of Buenos Aires. Enjoy it all and more in an exotic trip with William & Mary alumni and friends, without crossing numerous time zones.

Framed by overnight stays in Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires, this journey follows a route revealing the radiant waters, stunning landscapes and cultural rhythms of the southeastern coastline of South America.

Take in Rio de Janeiro’s sights, from the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain and the awe-inspiring Christ the Redeemer statue to the renowned Copacabana and Ipanema Beaches. Sail to Búzios and explore its coastal attractions — from calm clear waters to energetic surf spots — and visit the pristine island of Ilha Grande, a protected ecological area only traversed by foot, bike or boat. Explore these sights and more on this twelve-night voyage to Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.
