Legends of the College Yard: Pirates Booty & Other Tales
10-10:45 a.m. in the Sadler Center

Learn how pirate treasure funded W&M and other little known College history tales.


Become Reacquainted with your Inner Student - Tour of ISC
1:30-3:30 p.m. in the new Integrated Science Center

The Olde Guarde will have a unique opportunity to engage with faculty and students in ISC's innovative physical spaces and learn about exciting research initiatives that are pushing the boundaries of scientific discovery and impacting the world. Through presentations, tours and hands-on interactives, Olde Guarde members will enjoy an afternoon celebrating the sciences and becoming reacquainted with their inner student. 

Campus Bus Tours
3:45 p.m. in the Sadler Center

Hop on a bus and listen to student tour guides as you are driven around campus. Discover how your beloved alma mater has grown! The bus tour will first end at the Alumni House for those attending the following Welcome Reception and make a final stop at the Sadler Center.

All members of the Olde Guarde are invited to meet and mingle with classmates and friends, both old and new, at a fun, festive, backyard dinner party. Drinks will be served and dress is casual.


Sunday, April 30

Olde Guarde Induction Ceremony and Service of Remembrance 
10 a.m. in the Wren Yard

Join the 50th reunion class of 1967 as they officially become members of the Olde Guarde.

Begin the celebration with the traditional Bloody Mary reception.

Traditional luncheon presentation of the 14th Olde Guarde Distinguished Service Award to Carroll W. Owens, Jr. '62, P '90, P '92.


Accommodations & Parking

There are room blocks available for members of the Olde Guarde at the Fairfield Inn and Suites on Richmond Road. Room blocks are reserved for Friday and Saturday evenings at the rate of $104/night. To make a reservation, call 757.645.3600 and request to be in the Green & Gold block and refer to group code WGG. The blocks will be released after April 14, so call early.

Weekend parking will be available in the Sadler Center lot as well as in the front circle and back guest spaces of the Alumni House for Saturday's activities. On Sunday, ceremony guests are encouraged to park on Richmond Road. Luncheon parking will be available in the parking garage. All parking is at a first-come-first-serve basis.
