Erin Ewart '00 is a talent strategy consultant and career coach. She has over 15 years of experience leading searches and helping organizations develop and improve their recruitment strategies, and an insider's perspective on what recruiters and hiring managers are looking for. She uses this knowledge to help professionals navigate the job search process, with a focus on tangible, action-oriented coaching and feedback on everything from the elevator pitch to resumes and interview skills. She has previously worked for a diverse set of organizations including Google, the U.S. State Department, and KIPP, the nation's largest charter school network, and understands the nuances and challenges of the public, private, and social sectors. Erin now lives in Seattle and received her Bachelors Degree from the College of William and Mary and her MBA from Columbia Business School.
Valerie Cushman, Ph.D. serves as the Director of William & Mary's Office of Alumnae Initiatives that was founded in 2015. Her mission is to bolster the network of women graduates across the globe. She focuses her work on engaging alumnae with one another and inspiring, encouraging, and empowering alumnae to give impactful time, talent and treasure in support of faculty and students of William & Mary. Val also provides leadership for the planning of the 2018-19 commemoration of 100 years of coeducation.
