Dr. Robert Gatten ’66, M.A. ’68 will be a lecturer aboard this journey. Dr. Gatten has long been intrigued by how the background of Thomas Jefferson, including his own years at William and Mary, led to his westward vision and the sponsorship of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
