Alumni Admission Weekend

This admissions program is designed for rising high school juniors and seniors of William & Mary alumni. Students have the opportunity to hear from experts in the field about the college admissions process, and families can experience the decision process through the eyes of an admission professional in a mock committee exercise.

Fee: $125 per person (fee is applicable for both parents and students)

Friday, June 22
  • 1-5 p.m. — Registration, Sadler Center
  • 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. — Interviews for Rising Seniors (limited space - must be registered), Admissions Office
  • 2 p.m. — Financial Aid Workshop
  • 3 p.m. — Campus Tour (optional), leaves from Admissions Office
  • 3:30-4:30 p.m. — Experts Panel Discussion (College Counselors and Admission Professionals)
  • 5 p.m. — Campus Tour (optional), leaves from Admissions Office
  • 7-8:30 p.m. — Welcome Dinner with President W. Taylor Reveley III, Sadler Center, Chesapeake Room
  • 9-11 p.m. — Bowling for Students Transportation Provided
Saturday, June 23
  • 8 a.m. — Breakfast, Sadler Center, Chesapeake Room
  • 8:30-9:15 a.m. — Tim Wolfe '95, M.Ed. '01, Associate Provost for Enrollment and Dean of Admission at William & Mary
  • 9:30-10:15 a.m. — Making the Tough Decisions - Gil Villanueva, University of Richmond
  • 10:30-11:15 a.m. — Concurrent Workshops
  • 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. — Concurrent Workshops (repeat)
  • 12:30-1:30 p.m. — Lunch
  • Overview of Mock Admission Committee Exercise at conclusion of lunch.
  • 1:30-3:00 p.m. — Mock Admission Committee
  • 3-3:30 p.m. — Q&A session & Wrap-up
