Crim Dell Association Advisory Board

Mission

Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant community, expand opportunities for current LGBTQ+ students and allies, and maintain a strong connection with the university. As an inaugural member of our board, you will contribute directly to the alumni engagement, leadership and philanthropy work of staff members in the Office of University Advancement.

Vision

The Crim Dell Association is William & Mary’s identity group representing alumni dedicated to expanding the freedom to love and express gender and sexual identity.

Goals

1. Formalize Crim Dell Leadership Circle into the Crim Dell Association Alumni Advisory Board by June 2022
2. Follow updates with the creation of the Blackbaud alumni portal to ensure opportunity to self-identify and include personal interests and community membership
3. Highlight existing LGBTQ+ funding and increase participation annually
   1. Increase participation through percentage of dollars given (goal of 10% increase by FYE)
   2. Increase number of new donors to the LGBTQ+ Alumni Operating Fund (goal of 10 new donors by FYE)
4. By 2025, have 50% of board participation come from underrepresented communities
5. Create Crim Dell Advisory Board as a formally recognized entity of the William & Mary Alumni Association
   
   1. Provide content ideas for identity-based articles/highlights/columns in the Alumni Magazine and in alumni awards
