Evelyn “Evie” Albertson Bozzuti ’93
Evie graduated from William & Mary with an accounting degree. While at the university, she held leadership positions for the Wayne F. Gibbs Accounting Society and her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. She began her career in public accounting as an auditor at Ernst & Young in Richmond, Virginia. Later, she served as controller for several Virginia offices of an advertising agency and held controllership, process improvement and business planning and analysis roles at GE Financial Assurance (now Genworth) in Richmond.
She and her family then relocated to Seattle, Washington, where she devoted time to raising her two girls while staying engaged through volunteer work on finance committees for various school organizations and a Seattle-based parish. Since arriving in Seattle, Evie has stayed loyal and connected to her William & Mary roots by helping to grow the W&M Alumni Association’s Seattle network, hosting various alumni events and introducing the Yule Log tradition to the Pacific Northwest. She has since returned to professional practice on a part-time basis, offering various accounting and reporting services to several Seattle-based small businesses. She will continue to work remotely from their new home in the Charleston, South Carolina, area.
“I am immensely grateful for the friendships, diverse experiences and education I received at W&M. Despite the distance, I have maintained strong connections by helping the Seattle network grow, and I look forward to meeting Charleston alumni. I’m excited for the opportunity to serve on the W&M Alumni Association Board and to give back to the university and community.”
