John D. Windt ’89

Vienna, Virginia

John is currently an instructional assistant in the special education department at George C. Marshall High School in Falls Church, Virginia. He spent 24 years in the healthcare industry, first with Zeneca Pharmaceuticals and the last 18 with Gilead Sciences, working in roles of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing. In service to William & Mary, John was a member of the New York City Alumni Chapter Board for four years in the 1990s, serving as vice president and president of the chapter. He also spent seven years on the Annual Giving Board, with two-year terms as vice chair and chair. He is a lead class ambassador for the Class of 1989. He lives in Vienna, Virginia, with his wife, Marie. They have three children.
