Dawn Edmiston

 

Dr. Dawn Edmiston is the Clinical Professor of Marketing at William & Mary and previously served as a Fulbright Scholar to Estonia. She co-founded the Global Business Minor program and is chairperson of the AI Steering Committee in the Raymond A. Mason School of Business.

   
Prior to her career in academia, she worked for Discovery Communications (Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, and Discovery Channel Online), where she was responsible for 24 regional partnerships in 18 countries throughout Europe and Asia-Pacific. She also served as senior manager of marketing for PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consulting Services and IBM.

 

Dr. Edmiston has been recognized with teaching awards from the Marketing Management Association and Society of Marketing Advances. She is co-author of “Marketing Management: A Strategic Framework for Success” and contributing author to “Go-to-Market Strategies for Women Entrepreneurs.” Her educational background includes two doctorate degrees from the University of Maryland and William & Mary, in management and higher education, respectively. In addition, she holds an MBA from Columbia Business School with international studies at London Business School, and a BS in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
