ABO is dedicated to preserving alumni connections with the band program. This group is composed of William & Mary alumni and faculty who participated in or were affiliated with the band program or other related musical activities during their time at the university. The ABO remains active by hosting receptions after concerts, responding to the needs of the band director and participating in Homecoming & Reunion Weekend performances and activities.
The Association of 1775 was founded as William & Mary’s military/veteran alumni organization. It aims to provide scholarships and engagement opportunities for students, as well as regional programming for military/veteran alumni.
William & Mary’s affinity group for LGBTQ alumni and allies is dedicated to expanding the freedom to express gender and sexual identity in many different forms, as well as encouraging the engagement and fellowship of LGBTQ alumni and their allies.
HWA, the African American alumni organization, is dedicated to encouraging fellowship among alumni, advancing the interests of the Alumni Association and the university and enhancing the quality of life for current African-American students at William & Mary through scholarship opportunities as well as other avenues for involvement.
LatinX consists of alumni who self-identify as Latino, Latina, LatinX, Hispanic or Chicano working to create community among LatinX alumni. Their volunteer board works closely with the Latin American Studies Program faculty, the Cuba Media Initiative, and the Hispanic Studies faculty, among other Latin-American focused campus constituencies, to actively remain in touch with their alma mater.
OWJ’s goals and objectives include fostering and strengthening the fraternal bond between alumni who served in food service, promoting the honor and dignity of work ethic through manual labor to finance a college education, supporting current students working their way through college in food service through scholarship opportunities, and advancing the interests of the Alumni Association and the university.
The Olde Guarde consists of all members of the William & Mary Alumni Association whose class graduated 50 years ago or more.
Alumni within their first 10 years of graduation enjoy membership in the Young Guarde.
W&M Women provides regional and on-campus programs with the objective of empowering, inspiring and growing the leadership of women in the William & Mary community.
