 James H. Ambrose is a group finance manager at Microsoft Corp., where he leads the team responsible for revenue strategy and planning for Microsoft’s Azure data and artificial intelligence services. James has been with Microsoft for more than 12 years, joining the company after a stint with a nonprofit organization immediately following his graduation from William & Mary. James has been a member of the Annual Giving Board of Directors for the last five years, and currently serves as the chair of the Participation Committee. Immediately after graduating, James was a member of the Business Partners Board at the Mason School of Business. At William & Mary, James completed a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and double-majored in psychology. He and his wife, Catherine Williams Ambrose ’07, live in the Seattle metro area, where Catherine serves as the social work manager for a campus of a large regional hospital system.
