Leadership

The Board of Directors is currently seeking nominations for new volunteer leaders. Directors are expected to

  • actively serve a term of two years
  • agree to a financial commitment to the work of HWA
  • attend at least four meetings annually during their term to conduct the business of HWA

Positions on the Board of Directors include:

Executive Officers
Co-Presidents

The co-presidents will preside at all meetings of the HWA. They will be chairpersons of the Board of Directors, chairpersons of the executive committee and ex-officio of all other committees. The co-presidents will have the power to call meetings of the HWA board. One co-president must be Young Guarde (within 10 years of graduation).

Vice President

In the absence or disability of the co-presidents, or at the co-presidents’ request, the vice president will perform the duties of the president. If the office of the president becomes vacant, the vice president will become co-president for the unexpired term. The vice president will serve as a liaison to ex-officio board members.

Secretary

The secretary will record the minutes of meetings and provide them to the William & Mary Alumni Association.

Members at Large (11)

The Hulon Willis Association board will be comprised of eleven (11) members at large. This group should be inclusive of recent graduates. Members at large will have full voting rights and are expected to serve as chairpersons and/or members of standing committees of the Hulon Willis Association.
